Humanitarian Activities
Pakistan experienced the worst floods during the 2022 monsoon season. Unusual rainfall patterns caused flash floods in various parts of the country, affecting 33 million people across 116 districts. The SPHERE team organized relief activities in the affected areas of Balochistan, Sindh, and KP. In the first phase, SPHERE collaborated with Sardar Trust Eye Hospital to provide food and non-food items to Jaffarabad in Balochistan, Kandiaro/Nausharo Feroz in Sindh, and several villages in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. In the second phase, SPHERE provided financial support to affected families in the calamity hit districts, particularly in the Jaffarabad region
