Capacity Building

Our greatest strength lies in fostering an enabling work environment across Pakistan and working with the Federal & Provincial Departments of Health. We have extensive expertise in building the capacities of health workers and key personnel and providing training opportunities for our employees. Our training programs, which include seminars, modules, and hands-on activities, are designed to promote quality work. We also have experience in implementing training resources, including drafting health training manuals and educational materials. . Our organization also designed training programs for Lady Health Workers to improve primary healthcare facilities in provinces. Our training efforts are influenced by the opinions and suggestions of stakeholders. The following is an example of similar work:

  • Menstrual hygiene management (MHM) has been a recent focus of our work, where we have aimed to shift community perspectives and de-stigmatize female health issues. We provided a two-day training session to female public school teachers in Peshawar on MHM. A Training Needs Assessment (TNA) was conducted in selected schools and instead of traditional lecturing, a participatory approach was adopted through interactive conversations.
  • SPHERE conducted training of medical staff working with Medicines' du Monde (MDM) in Kohat, KP. Our consultants trained a team of medical personnel, including doctors and support staff such as dispensers, pharmacists, and LHVs, on primary health care and maternal and child health in Kohat. The training was delivered through Development Solutions International (DSI) platform.

Furthermore, we regularly conduct awareness activities on our online platforms. This involves disseminating information on disease outbreaks, prevention strategies, and personal care. We align our work with values that promote the well-being of all individuals, regardless of gender or class. We disseminate knowledge by advocating and communicating with policymakers and end users.
